Dallas, TX
Back End Shifts:
Sunday: 12AM - 6AM
Sunday: 6PM - 6AM
Monday: 6PM - 6AM
Tuesday: 6PM - 6AM
Rate: $27-$30PH
The Opportunity
Our client, a leading data centre operator, is seeking a Data Center Technician to support critical 24/7 infrastructure operations in Dallas, Texas. This position offers a blend of customer support, remote hands services, provisioning, system administration and facilities operations within a mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer support, issue resolution and escalation for service-impacting events.
- Deliver remote hands support and coordinate vendor and carrier access within the facility.
- Assist with physical and logical installations, provisioning activities and infrastructure documentation.
- Perform software installations, upgrades and basic troubleshooting across Microsoft and operating systems.
- Monitor data centre and customer infrastructure environments and escalate issues where required.
- Support shipping, receiving, inventory management and facility housekeeping standards.
- Complete shift reports and maintain compliance with operational procedures and policies.
What You'll Bring Essential
- Experience within a data centre, IT operations, network operations centre or critical environment.
- Understanding of hardware installation, cabling and remote hands activities.
- Basic Microsoft and operating system troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment and support shift work.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience supporting facility monitoring, environmental systems or critical infrastructure.
- Exposure to change management, incident management or ticketing systems.
- Experience working with vendors, carriers or colocation customers.
