POSITION LOCATION : Swakopmund, Erongo Region Namibia.
POSITON NAME: Quantity Surveyor
A well established construction company at the coast is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Delivering high-quality construction solutions that enhances safety, efficiency and long-term value across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects. JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
- 1-2 years' experience in construction industry
- National Diploma or BSc in Quantity Surveying / BTech Quantity Surveying
- MS Office Proficiency
- Currently residing at the coast (Swakopmund, Walvis Bay)
- Knowledge of Candy Software will be an advantage
- Good understanding of construction methods, measurements, and basic cost management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documentation.
- Assist with measuring and pricing construction work.
- Assist with monthly payment valuations and preparation of payment certificates.
- Assist with reviewing contractor claims, variations, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor project costs and assist with cost reporting.
- Assist with tender preparation, analysis, and evaluations.
- Maintain accurate project records and quantity surveying documentation.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
