About the role 

As a Concierge Intern, you will support the concierge and guest services team in delivering exceptional, personalized service to our guests. This internship provides hands-on exposure to luxury hospitality while developing knowledge of the destination, guest service standards, and Concierge operations. Under the guidance of the Concierge team, the Intern will assist with guest requests, recommendations, reservations, transportation arrangements, and special experiences, always delivering service with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. 

 

 

What you will do 

• Provide personalized recommendations and expert destination guidance on local attractions, restaurants, cultural experiences, outdoor activities, wellness offerings, and bespoke excursions. 

• Arrange and coordinate guest requests, including restaurant reservations, transportation, yacht charters, tours, spa appointments, activities, and special events. 

• Deliver warm, intuitive, and anticipatory service, identifying opportunities to personalize each guest's stay and exceed expectations. 

• Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, professionally, and efficiently through all communication channels, including in person, telephone, email, and messaging platforms. 

• Maintain detailed knowledge of the resort's facilities, services, outlets, and experiences, as well as current information on the local area and destination offerings. 

• Handle special requests and bespoke arrangements for VIP guests, celebrations, family travel, milestone occasions, and unique experiences. 

• Coordinate closely with external partners, vendors, and local service providers to ensure seamless execution of guest arrangements and experiences. 

• Collaborate effectively with Front Office, Guest Services, Guest Experience, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Security, and other resort departments to ensure guest requests are communicated and fulfilled efficiently. 

• Support daily Concierge operations, including opening and closing procedures, daily checklists, operational reports, shift handovers, and follow-up on outstanding requests. 

• Accurately document guest preferences, requests, and interactions within hotel systems to support personalized and consistent service throughout the guest journey. 

• Assist with administrative responsibilities, including confirmations, vouchers, invoicing, billing verification, and vendor documentation. 

• Develop an understanding of vendor agreements, contracts, and invoicing procedures, ensuring compliance with resort standards and financial procedures. 

• Monitor and follow up on all guest arrangements to ensure services are delivered as expected and any issues are resolved proactively. 

• Manage guest feedback, concerns, and service recovery opportunities with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach, escalating when appropriate. 

• Promote resort experiences, amenities, and curated activities that enhance the guest experience and support resort revenue objectives. 

• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism when handling guest information, preferences, and sensitive requests. 

• Ensure compliance with Four Seasons policies, service standards, and brand expectations while consistently delivering exceptional guest experiences. 

• Drive resort vehicles or buggies within the property when required and authorized, adhering to all safety procedures and operational guidelines. 

• Create meaningful guest connections and memorable experiences by embodying the Four Seasons Golden Rule and commitment to luxury hospitality excellence.

• Team Player Attitude: Ability to collaborate effectively with the Concierge team and other hotel departments to contribute to a seamless guest experience.  

• Positive Attitude: Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn and develop within a luxury hospitality environment.  

• Legal authorization to complete an internship in Spain. 

Degree: Currently enrolled in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field. 

Languages: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.

Schedule & Hours: Seasonal contract, full Time, 40 hours per week, with consecutive and rotating shifts (including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends).
