Shift: Monday - Friday 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM
Inter Branch Product & Equipment Transport
- Review inventory and transport requirements for each branch and collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure all items are prepared for pickup.
- Load and unload products, equipment, and materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other approved equipment while following all safety standards.
- Secure all items properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate company vehicles to transport goods between designated operational branches.
- Maintain open communication with management regarding schedules, routing changes, delays, or issues related to transported materials.
- Transport secure safes and other cash-handling materials as assigned.
- Follow all established cash-handling, loss prevention, and safety protocols
- Records require accurate transactions and documentation.
- Report any unusual behavior, discrepancies, or concerns that may indicate potential misconduct.
- Ensure all perishable items are handled, stored, and transported according to food safety standards.
- Maintain proper refrigeration during transport to protect product quality.
- Ensure assigned vehicles remain in compliance with all maintenance schedules, inspections, and registration requirements.
- Partner with management to ensure vehicle operation meets all federal, state, and company regulations.
- Assist in coordinating vehicle drop off and pick up for scheduled service or repairs at off-site locations.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support operational needs.
Ingredients for Thriving:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must pass DOT physical.
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles in all weather conditions, including snow and ice.
- Basic mobile technology skills for using company applications.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Forklift experience preferred.
