Job Description:

Job profile  - RBC - ETCS AUTOMATED TESTING ENGINEER

Job purpose

The new member will be part of the RBC team

 You will have the opportunity to work with experts from Germany (Berlin) in a very dynamic and complex environment and also you will be responsible for testing the ETCS Level2 software products like Radio Block Centre.

Job summary

Test of complex and safety-critical application software for the railway field, including:

• Specification of Test Cases on Requirements basis
• Implementation of Automation Test Cases
• Execution of automated tests
• Support of test environments, tools and simulation
• Evaluation of the test output (coverage, traceability, progress)
• Test documentation & Regular test reporting

Professional competencies

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Transportation, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, or similar (Engineering background is a must)

Requested technical competencies:

• Ability to understand and interpret product specifications
• Programming abilities
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
• Basic knowledge of Linux

Would be a plus:

• Programming: Ruby, Python, Groovy, XML
• Script Languages (Shell)

• Knowledge of ClearQuest, Doors,
• Version Control Software – Git, ClearCase
• Experience in Railway Business
