Program Master Scheduler

Summary:

Our New Product Development team is seeking a Master Scheduler. This role plays an essential role on a team that builds and maintains comprehensive program plans and schedules. This includes Integrated Master Plans and Integrated Master Schedules that guide program execution and provide the baseline from which performance is measured. In this position, you will collaborate closely with Program Managers and cross functional partners, engaging with team members as needed to support successful program delivery. Working alongside the Program Finance Manager, the Master Scheduler communicates program status and performance in both schedule and cost and provides thoughtful forecasts for future performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create horizontal and vertical integration of program plans and schedules across company functions including finance, engineering, procurement, operations, manufacturing, and quality

• Develop, validate, and maintain schedules for assigned projects and programs. Provide resource management, support schedule process and procedure development for PMO activities, and assist with desktop metric oversight and reporting

• Support Work Breakdown Structure configuration and IPT assignment. Ensure schedule alignment with Responsibility Assignment Matrix requirements for both summary and detailed control account planning

• Update the Contract Work Breakdown Structure Dictionary when required

• Build and maintain the Program Master Schedule for post award activities

• Update and maintain project schedule fields as defined by the company Field Definition table

• Maintain and adjust the baseline through the Baseline Change Review process

• Perform schedule health analyses, generate schedule quality metrics, and identify and resolve issues

• Prepare Schedule Analysis Reports including critical path, top level summaries, resource management, milestones, and slack trend reports

• Ensure management understanding of network logic, Gantt views, pert charts, milestone lists, and resource information

• Validate schedules as assigned to meet DCMA fourteen-point criteria, defined field configurations, CDRL and SDRL requirements, and earned value standards. Provide guidance and instruction to project teams to strengthen performance

• Establish a schedule development calendar for assigned projects, capturing status cycles, report generation, required deliveries, and archival of the Integrated Master Schedule

• Provide technical support for work package breakdown across programs and help oversee PMT assignments

• Support Integrated Baseline Reviews and Schedule Resource Analysis reviews as needed

• Deliver schedule training to department colleagues, functional groups, and program teams

• Develop and maintain Earned Value analyses and reports. Assist Program Management and Finance with analysis and corrective actions related to Earned Value data

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

• Minimum of 4 years in a related role/function

• Strong expertise with MS Project, including integration of multiple resource loaded schedules into a single master schedule

• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Teams, using data driven variance analysis and resource tracking to inform stakeholders

• Ability to assemble and present data and complex subjects in a clear and meaningful way to audiences outside the Master Planning and Scheduling team

• Strong functional management skills, including clear expectation setting with internal and external customers

• Commitment to challenging and advancing knowledge of industry practices, standards, and company policies

• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain issues and resolutions in both written and verbal formats

• Experience preparing presentations for senior leaders that include metrics and clear explanations

• Ability to collaborate with engineering, procurement, operations, and other functions to understand and reflect how and when scope will be performed

• Ability to build productive relationships with schedule stakeholders including internal and external customers

• Experience with program schedule forecasting and analysis, especially in a United States Department of Defense program environment

• Interest in expanding professional skills and capabilities

• PMI Scheduling Professional certification or PMI Project Management Professional certification

Bonus or Equity

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 81500.00-151300.00
