Technical Trainee - Mechanical Design

We are looking for a Technical Trainee - Mechanical Design for our Laser department.

YOUR CHALLENGES

• Support the development of Lidar components and system assemblies.
• Utilize CATIA V5 CAD software for mechanical design tasks.
• Create new 3D models and 2D engineering drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Drive innovation by researching and proposing new concepts and technologies.
• Assist with product validation and testing under diverse environmental conditions.
• Collaborate effectively and report progress within multi-disciplinary project teams.

LET´S TALK ABOUT YOU

• University degree in a technical field (or currently studying), with 1–2 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 design software.
• Knowledge of ISO dimensioning and tolerancing is an advantage as well as experience with environmental testing procedures.
• Basic understanding of electronic components, PCB design, or optics is welcome.
• Good command of English (both spoken and written).
• Strong analytical thinking, proactive mindset, and capability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
