As a Design Verification Engineer at Micron, you will collaborate with design and verification teams to develop next-generation DRAM and emerging memory technologies. You will contribute to the verification of sophisticated, high-density memory products featuring advanced functionality, ultra-high-speed interfaces, low-power architectures, and power management technologies. Working closely with global engineering teams, you will apply verification methodologies, automation, and industry-leading practices while continuing to grow your technical expertise.
- Develop a working grasp of build functionality, architecture, and timing requirements.
- Contribute to the development of verification environments and automation solutions.
- Help improve verification methodologies, flows, and engineering productivity.
- Apply AI-assisted tools and modern automation technologies to improve verification efficiency and productivity.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Develop and implement verification plans, test scenarios, patterns, and regressions to achieve coverage goals.
- Debug design and verification issues, perform root-cause analysis, and help drive issues to resolution.
- Analyze functionality and timing requirements to support comprehensive verification coverage.
- Support bug tracking, coverage closure, and verification signoff for assigned work.
- Partner with design engineers and multi-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve verification efficiency and productivity.
- Contribute to the execution of verification strategies for new product features.
- Share technical knowledge and collaborate with peers, seeking guidance from experienced team members as needed.
Education & Experience Vital for Success:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or Master's degree or equivalent experience, in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
- Solid understanding of CMOS circuits and semiconductor fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with digital and/or analog verification methodologies.
- Working knowledge of SystemVerilog, UVM, SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA), and verification techniques used to measure test completeness.
- Working proficiency with simulation and verification tools such as SpectreFX, Xcelium, Verilog, and other industry-standard tools.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Perl, or similar languages.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a global engineering environment.
- Experience with Cadence and Synopsys tools is valued.
- Experience in DRAM, memory products, or semiconductor verification is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and a commitment to adopting AI-enabled ways of working to improve engineering efficiency, accelerate problem-solving, and support continuous innovation is highly desirable.
