The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Facilities Team:  

 RTX Raytheon Real Estate Services has an opening for a Facilities Maintenance Technician - Infrastructure Systems (Sr. Tech, Facilities) at the Dulles VA site

What You Will Do

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all infrastructure systems with the primary focus on HVAC, also includes but not limited to chilled water distribution, pumps, motors, and frontend building automation controls.
• Perform as a first shift facilities mechanic supporting site operations.
• Work with a computerized maintenance management system
• Self-manage and prioritize work requests
• Execute work in a timely and safe manner
• Provide coverage and support for the facility days/nights/weekends if business, schedule, or emergency situations arise.

What You Will Learn

• How to manage facilities operations in 400,000 square feet of building, office, lab and warehouse space; gain technical experience working alongside senior mechanics and contractors and learn to troubleshoot large infrastructure equipment and controls.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in Technical Facilities and a HS Diploma or GED or AA/AS degree (or another 2 year post HS training) and 4 or more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years’ experience in (three or more) of the following areas:
  • HVAC and Building Automation Controls
  • Maintenance of pumps, motors, valve and actuator operation
  • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
  • Refrigeration cycles
• 2+ years’ experience reading and interpreting blueprints and complex schematics as well as OSHA regulations and standards for Safe work practice, hazard assessment and mitigation.
• Experience with Team and cross-functional relationship building.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Computer experience in the function and application of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as well as common office technology including MS office suite of software and other Web based tools.
• Experience in Electrical, VFD's and motor controls and team members
• PLC controls troubleshooting
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
• Microsoft Office experience

• This is an onsite role qualified candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the Dulles VA facility.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 47,700 USD - 90,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
