High Desert Class A drivers: 11 western states, home every two weeks, and paid training if you're new.
If you want western miles that keep you close and out of the Northeast, this is the seat. Most runs are two days or less. New CDL-A holders ride with a paid mentor first, then take the wheel solo.
The money
- $1,000 to $1,300 a week, roughly $52,000 to $67,600 a year
- Line-haul mileage pay scale
- 1,700 to 2,100 miles a week

OTR lanes through the 11 western states. Drop-and-hook, live load and live unload in the mix. Home every two weeks, planned loads, day and night dispatch.
New to trucking?

Your truck
Assigned late-model automatic or 10-speed, about 1.5 years old, 24/7 dispatch.

What you need
- Class A CDL in your home state, 21 or older
- New grad (120+ hours) or verifiable experience
- Acceptable driving record, no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
- No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
- DOT physical and hair and urine screen
