Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Receiving Clerk to join the Woodridge, IL team!

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

Shift: 5:30am-2:00pm

## Position Overview:

The Receiving Clerk reports to our Inbound leadership team and will be on day shift.

In this function you will:

• Physically processes the receipt of unplanned receipts.
• Signs for packages and cargo accurately (piece counts) and notes shortages and damages in accordance with company policy.
• Analyzes receipts to determine if they are customer returns, finished goods receipts for stock, or to be forwarded to the office for delivery to personnel or departments within the building.
• Logs and routes the receipts in accordance with departmental rules
• Maintains a clean, neat, and organized area.
• Engage with fellow team members and leadership with a positive attitude.
• Provides additional backup support for the receiving and reverse logistics departments
• Identifies and communicates opportunities for system related or operational improvements to their direct leader.
• Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility
• Works to maximize asset utilization to ensure proper process flow within the receiving area.
• Implement and support behavioral based zero incident safety culture.
• Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines and ensure they are consistently practiced.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers to expedite the workflow and ensure the established quality expectations.
• All duties assigned by management and deemed pertinent to the continued success of Company and employee objectives and/or goals

## Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Woodridge, IL location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred:

• 1 or more years Handheld / RF Scanner experience.

• Minimum of 6 months Forklift, Material Handling Equipment, or Powered Industrial Truck experience.

## Position Criteria:

• Having both a Tactical and Strategic mindset while anticipating where issues may arise
• Time management, multi-tasking, ability to work in fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with Accellos One WMS is a plus
• Knowledge of MS Office tools, specifically Excel and Outlook
• Ensures quality and accuracy of results
