Responsibilities

The Associate, LTS role supports the delivery of legal transformation and legal operations engagements for corporate legal departments and other clients. 

This position provides graduates with the opportunity to develop consulting expertise while working with global project teams. Successful candidates will gain experience in research, analysis, process and operating model design, technology-enabled transformation, change support, and the preparation of high-quality client deliverables. 

The Role: What You'll Do 

LTS Consulting & Transformation Delivery 

• Support consultants in planning and delivering legal transformation, legal operations, and technology-enabled projects. 

• Conduct structured research and analysis to support client recommendations, business cases, and transformation roadmaps. 

• Assist with stakeholder interviews, workshops, meeting notes, action tracking, and follow-up activities. 

• Document current-state processes and help design future-state workflows, operating models, governance, and service delivery approaches. 

• Support the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business, process, data, and technology requirements. 

• Analyse information and data using tools such as Microsoft Excel and translate findings into clear insights. 

• Prepare high-quality client deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations, reports, process maps, trackers, and status updates. 

• Perform quality control to ensure work is accurate, consistent, evidence-based, and ready for client review. 

• Support project management, change management, communications, training, and adoption activities across engagements. 

• Participate in team knowledge-sharing and develop awareness of legal technology, CLM, ELM, DMS, GenAI, data, and legal operations trends. 

Working Hours 

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 18:00 PM 

• Hybrid Working – Remote and On-Site

Requirements:  

• A degree, diploma, or similar qualification in a relevant field such as business, law, technology, information systems, data, finance, or another analytical discipline. 

• Working knowledge of basic PC functions and Windows environment (e.g., MS Office)  

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. 

• Must be based in Cape Town.
