Description
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, wire, modify, and maintain electrical test equipment, control panels, test carts, racks, and ground-support systems in accordance with UL 508A and company standards
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and commission industrial electrical and controls systems, including sensors, actuators, drives, valves, motors, robots, and safety/interlock systems
- Read, interpret, and redline electrical schematics and provide feedback to engineering
- Support calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated test equipment
- Support equipment installation, modification, and commissioning at company facilities and test sites
- Maintain electrical shop tools, consumables, and hardware inventory
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of professional experience building, wiring, maintaining, or troubleshooting industrial, aerospace, manufacturing, or test equipment
- Experience wiring equipment from electrical schematics, including PLCs, industrial I/O, relays, motor controls, power distribution, and safety circuits
- Working knowledge of UL 508A, NFPA 70, and NFPA 79 requirements applicable to electrical equipment and installations
- Proficiency with electrical test equipment, hand tools, and basic mechanical fabrication and assembly tools
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of experience building industrial control panels, aerospace ground-support equipment, automated robotic systems, or similar electrical equipment
- Experience working with systems up to 480 VAC and applying electrical safety practices, including NFPA 70E
- Experience with National Instruments, Beckhoff, IFM, or similar industrial and test hardware
- Experience with automation, robotics, complex machinery, and/or PLC-controlled equipment
- Experience with EPlan or similar electrical design/documentation software; OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.
