Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception in IRWINDALE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a premier retail location, you will greet guests, manage access control, monitor security-related systems, and provide exceptional customer service. You will maintain a professional, welcoming presence while helping to deter incidents through clear communication and attention to site procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, clients, and delivery personnel at a luxury retail location while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and delivery logs.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, observe activity in the lobby and entrance areas, and report suspicious or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with directing guests and communicating relevant information to store leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
