Location: BGC
Work Setup: Hybrid, 3 Days WFH and 2 Days Onsite

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Design, develop, configure, customize, and maintain Guidewire ClaimCenter applications for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance clients.
-
Participate in requirements gathering, business analysis, and technical solution design discussions.
-
Develop and maintain ClaimCenter business rules, Gosu classes, PCF screens, workflows, batch processes, activities, validation rules, and data model extensions.
-
Build, enhance, and support integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, messaging frameworks, Integration Gateway, and other integration patterns.
-
Configure security roles, permissions, and user access controls in accordance with application security requirements.
-
Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with Guidewire development standards, coding practices, and quality guidelines.
-
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.
-
Troubleshoot application defects and production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions.
-
Support Guidewire upgrades, application migrations, and cloud transformation initiatives.
-
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, release planning, and delivery activities.
-
For senior-level candidates, lead technical design workshops, define ClaimCenter solution architecture, estimate development effort, and plan releases.

Mentor junior developers, guide development teams, and promote best practices in code quality, technical governance, and solution delivery.

Work closely with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
-
6–10 years of overall IT experience.
-
At least 3 years of hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter development experience.
-
Strong practical knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration, customization, and development best practices.
-
Proficiency in Gosu programming, PCF configuration, business rules, workflows, batch processes, activities, and data model extensions.
-
Experience developing and supporting integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, JSON/XML, messaging frameworks, and third-party systems.
-
Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data analysis, with experience in Oracle or SQL Server.
-
Strong understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, including claims processes and lifecycle management.
-
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
-
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
-
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate independently and across global teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Guidewire ACE (Approved Certified Engineer) Certification in ClaimCenter.
-
Guidewire Certified Specialist – ClaimCenter certification.
-
Guidewire ACE Integration Certification.
-
Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud certifications.
-
Experience with the Guidewire Cloud Platform and cloud-based transformation initiatives.

Experience in ClaimCenter upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, and application optimization.

Exposure to ContactManager and PolicyCenter integrations.
-
Familiarity with DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
-
Experience mentoring junior developers and coordinating technical delivery for senior-level positions.
