- Oversee engineering support for builds, launch readiness, production ramp-up, and ongoing manufacturing stability across supported sites.
- Champion value improvement initiatives that reduce product cost, improve margins, and lower warranty claims through engineering-led problem solving.
- Strengthen reliability and testing capabilities, ensuring teams understand failure modes, validation methods, and corrective action processes.
- Partner with supply chain and sourcing teams to evaluate supplier changes, component improvements, and design modifications that improve quality, continuity, and cost performance.
- Establish governance, metrics, and review mechanisms to track engineering performance, portfolio health, execution risk, and organizational capability.
- Develop and retain top engineering talent, including succession planning and capability building for PLE leaders and broader site engineering teams.
- Serve as a key liaison between the Mexico Design Center and global stakeholders across engineering, product management, sourcing, quality, and manufacturing.
