- Base Salary $107,312 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
We are in a period of exciting change and development within our Domestic Recruitment and Access team in Sydney Future Students, as we work towards delivering the University’s strategic priorities. We are seeking an enthusiastic Outreach and Access Officer to develop and deliver engaging and accessible content for events, workshops and outreach activities held on and off campus.
Working closely with colleagues across the Domestic Recruitment and Access team, you will deliver high-quality outreach activities and provide a positive experience for prospective students and key stakeholders. In this varied and fast-paced role, you will coordinate projects, events and high school engagement activities, while building relationships with schools and community partners.
This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of functions across the team, including event delivery, reporting, stakeholder engagement and the development of presentations and resources for high school students.
About you
- excellent organisational, time and workload management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and develop engaging content for a range of audiences, particularly high school students
- knowledge of, or an interest in, higher education, student pathways and outreach, or an understanding of STEM education, particularly in a high school context
- demonstrated experience in project coordination, event planning and delivery
- well-developed analytical skills, including data gathering, analysis and reporting
- strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, both independently and as part of a team
- demonstrated initiative, flexibility and sound judgement, with the ability to resolve issues as they arise
- current NSW driver license
