Job Description:
Department Overview:
U.S. Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) provides independent oversight and coordination of enterprise non-financial risk programs, driving consistency, governance, risk reporting, and program execution across the Bank while supporting the ongoing maturation of risk management practices and operating models. The 2nd line Operational Risk Management Committee (ORMC) Orchestration team serves as the central coordination point for leading ORMC Executive Committee administration and related governance processes and risk reporting, and supports regulatory and audit-related response coordination where applicable, all while engaging cross-functional teams to support and enable effective oversight, risk transparency, and informed decision-making across the organization.
Additional Role Responsibilities:
The Senior Group Risk Analyst is a vital role, which works with various stakeholders across Risk Management, primarily including but not limited to, Non-Financial Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Model Risk Management, and various Enterprise partners across corporate functions and lines of business.
ORMC Orchestration accountabilities
- Support U.S. ORMC governance and reporting activities oversight via the coordination, review, and preparation of routines/protocols, team engagement, and leadership concurrence.
- Coordinate committee administration activities, including meeting logistics, attendance tracking, action item management, Mandate and membership maintenance, and post-meeting distributions.
- Support 2nd line development of Executive-level risk reporting and insights, including risk profiles, emerging risks, material events, and program updates, while engaging with stakeholders across the Bank.
- Perform reporting activities, including data collection, QA checks, and preparation of synthesized Executive-level information to better enable risk oversight, monitoring, and decision-making by NFRM leadership and ORMC members.
- Assist with ad-hoc regulatory and audit response support, as well as broader remediation initiatives by supporting reporting, documentation, and coordination of cross-team stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting, governance processes, and operational practices to support continuous improvement and risk program effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Risk Management or Governance & Control as well as in U.S./North American banking regulatory environments is considered an asset
- Previous experience with Operational Risk Management Programs and Frameworks including Risk Profiles, Risk Appetite Statement, Issue Management, etc. and familiarity with Risk Taxonomies
- High proficiency in Adobe Acrobat (i.e., PDF merging, amalgamation, redaction) and MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel (e.g., pivot tables, charts, etc.), and PowerPoint
- Experience with Microsoft Co-Pilot (or other AI Assistants) and Risk Management platforms is an asset
- Strong sense of ownership and continuous‑improvement mindset, paired with a proactive, results‑oriented approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences, including senior executives.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with business partners across the Bank and at various levels of the organization.
- Resilience and flexibility to manage multiple initiatives and priorities while meeting critical deadlines.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and structured problem‑solving skills.
