HOSPITAL Area Controller (Rehab hospital)

Our client, a Rehab health system, located near St Louis, MO, has a need for an Area Controller to join their team. Candidates MUST have hospital accounting experience!

• Oversee 3 locations with 6 direct reports
• Need operational knowledge. Strong analytical skills and critical thinking. Need good personality that will participate in employee engagement and patient rounding.
• Financial and/or accounting analyst experience is a big plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management with a major in Accounting
• MBA preferred
• CPA Preferred
• Minimum of 5 years hospital accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of financial management and analysis principles and techniques and managerial skills
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting, in healthcare auditing and reimbursement knowledge
