The Luxury Sales Manager will lead and grow our commercial business across the U.S. This role is ideal for a scorecard-driven sales leader who enjoys traveling and spending time in the market with our distributors and customers.
Success in this role requires a passion for Luxury wines and spirits, a commitment to delivering business results, strong communication, and a desire to travel 60-80% of the year.
Job Description:
Sales Development
- Support distributor sales teams nationally.
- Conduct ride-withs and market visits.
- Identify distribution opportunities.
- Support luxury and key account selling efforts.
- Participate in distributor business reviews.
Education & Training
- Lead distributor sales meetings.
- Conduct luxury portfolio education programs with distributor sales teams.
- Train restaurant staff on the unique history, terroir and craftsmanship of our wines.
- Develop selling stories and luxury positioning.
Market Activation
- Execute consumer wine dinners and tastings.
- Lead producer visits.
- Pour and advocate for our brands at local and national trade shows.
- Support consumer and trade activations.
Supplier Partnership
- Coordinate execution plans with suppliers.
- Provide monthly business updates.
- Share market insights and opportunities.
- Assist with business planning and forecasting.
Reporting & Analytics
- Recap all market visits.
- Track and follow up on market performance.
- Monitor programming execution.
- Identify growth opportunities.
- Deliver supplier reporting and recaps
Who You Are

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, economics, sales or related field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant sales experience; luxury wine experience strongly preferred
- Industry credentials – including WSET, CSW/CSS, Certified Sommelier – strongly preferred
- Proven success delivering distribution and depletions growth
- Strong existing relationships with key luxury On & Off Premise accounts
- Experience managing distributors
- Excellent sales, presentation and public speaking skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication and time-management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office; VIP and Power BI experience a plus.
- Must reside in the U.S. and be willing to travel weekly across all 50 states + D.C.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Up to 60-80% of time traveling to priority markets via plane, train, or car.
- 30% of time spent in home market and conducting planning & reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze complex data and engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs, including product samples, sales materials, etc.
- Work environment includes home-office based work and significant time traveling to spend time in the market with distributors and customers.
