What we are looking for:

With your ability to function independently in our participative self-managed professional environment you will perform adult and paediatric cardiac ultrasound exams.

What you bring to the role:

• Registration with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
• Registration with the American Registration of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS) designation
• Member of CARDUP
• Current BCLS
• Minimum of 1 year full-time Hospital experience in all aspects of adult echocardiography, experience with Paediatrics is an asset
• Experience with Contrast Echo, TEE and Stress Echo is preferred
• Demonstrated excellent patient care skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Ability to teach and evaluate students in their clinical placement
• Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards
• Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required

Work Schedule:

 

The successful candidate must be available to cover days, evenings, and nights on a casual basis with flexibility to work additional shifts as needed, including weekday, weekends and holidays.

$41.26 - $55.42
