The Role

We are seeking an accomplished Team Leader to join our team for a major infrastructure development project based in Islamabad, Pakistan. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, oversee project delivery, and ensure effective coordination among stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for project implementation and delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities.
• Support the development of technical solutions and implementation strategies to meet project objectives.
• Ensure project activities are delivered in accordance with approved plans, schedules, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to facilitate efficient project execution.
• Monitor project progress and identify opportunities to enhance performance and delivery outcomes.
• Review project documentation, reports, and technical submissions to ensure consistency and quality.
• Support effective risk management and resolution of project-related challenges.
• Facilitate collaboration between project teams and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

You will bring proven experience in a similar consultancy role, with the ability to build trusted relationships, drive positive outcomes, and support new business opportunities.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree in Engineering Management, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field will be an advantage.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects.
• Proven experience in leading large and complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, construction practices, and engineering management principles.
• Experience working within consulting environments and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Exposure to development, public-sector, or internationally funded projects will be considered an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
