Job Description
Maintains responsibility for one or more named accounts or an entire named territory.
Convert new accounts (hunting) and/ or manage existing accounts (farming).
Responsible to grow business through up-sell and cross-sell activities across the Agilent portfolio of products.
More than 50% of time spent with customers engaging across the sales process.
Coordinates Product/Market Specialists and Pre-Sales AE/ FAS/TSS and other functions needed to support sales activities and provide technical expertise.
Ensures customers are satisfied with service and support and builds strong relationships within accounts. [Specialty focused Account Managers should leverage this role].
Engagement in sales cycle: Opportunity Development, Solution Development, Negotiation & Close, Onboard & Implementation, Relationship Management.
Accountabilities: Generate revenue through new and existing accounts, Generate a healthy funnel opportunities, Balanced performance across product lines, Customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline; or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in technical sales, marketing, or technical support within scientific instrumentation, life sciences, or chemistry solutions
Demonstrated ability to manage complex portfolios involving both direct and indirect channel structures.
