What You'll Do
- Lead schedule development for tender bids across Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC) project types, including Equipment Only (EO), Extended Engineering and Procurement (EEP), and Turnkey (self-implemented and partner-led) models — in line with Quality Management System (QMS) standards and work instructions.
- Partner with Commercial and finance teams to define payment milestones, prepare partner cash flows, optimise schedules, and integrate inputs from across product lines.
- Drive schedule strategies for ITO teams, identifying risks and developing mitigation action plans; lead scheduling discussions during Risk and Gate reviews.
- Support clarification and negotiation phases with Customers and Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractors (EPC’s), providing scheduling expertise throughout the bid lifecycle.
- Ensure quality handover of tender schedules to OTR Pole teams, fand support project schedulers with Master Target Schedule (MTS) development aligned to contract scope.
- Integrate sub schedules from Product Lines and partner’s sub-schedule into overall EPC schedule, Defining interface points, templates, and processes for effective schedule management.
- Champion continuous improvement – prepare and maintain scheduling processes, best practices, and standardization initiatives across the ITO function.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned project controls professional with a sharp eye for schedule risk, a collaborative instinct, and the confidence to lead complex conversations with senior commercial and customer stakeholders.
Required
- Extensive experience in a Project Controls (Planning, scheduling) function within an EPC environment, including execution of several projects with significant site exposure;
- Prior experience on at least 1-2 EPC Gas combined cycle /energy projects is must;
- Strong Knowledge of power plant principles and work processes across engineering, procurement, and construction phases;
- Strong experience in Primavera P6, MS Projects, MS office;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work with cross functional teams and simplify complex messages
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel to project site, customer/partner's office and abroad as and when required.
Desired
- Knowledge of 4D planning methodologies
- Knowledge of rotating machines
- Experience with Extension of time claims / forensic planning
- Exposure to risk and opportunity identification and mitigation planning within an EPC setting.
