Material Handler

Performs chemical handling activities by following a defined set of procedures and standard practices to ensure safe and efficient operations. Handles hazardous materials (preparing, weighing, packaging, filling and labeling) using all required safety gear, in accordance with cGMP, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and departmental procedures.

• Executes day-to-day repacking operations in cleanrooms, according to established guidelines and procedures.

• Handles routine tasks such as receiving, storing, and shipping materials or products, ensuring that goods are accurately logged and managed in the system.

• Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, reporting discrepancies, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

• Operates warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move products efficiently.

• Maintains a safe and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

• Resolves common operational issues by applying standard solutions and following established methods.

• Communicates with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow within the warehouse.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

• High School education or NITEC education preferred

• OSHA Forklift and HAZMAT certification a plus

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Must be able to use proper techniques to lift up to 25 kg. The ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety is extremely important.

• Must be able to handle stress caused in meeting deadlines with tight scheduling requirements.

• Must be able to shift priorities easily.

• Must have responsible work habits.

• Must be familiar with warehouse systems.

• Skill and ability to use Microsoft office tools and company software

• Able to work in cleanroom environment

• Ability to understand SOP’s, documents, and regulations

• Able to support afternoon shift (Eg: 3pm to 12am)
