KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop new services and small project opportunities while growing existing customer accounts.
• Serve as the primary customer contact; conduct site visits, identify needs, present solutions, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare estimates and proposals, including labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, exclusions, and clarifications.
• Manage awarded work from turnover through completion, including scheduling, manpower, materials, vendors, change orders, documentation, and closeout.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, track proposals and close rates, and provide regular sales forecasts and progress updates.
• Update project P&Ls and monitor revenue, cost, gross profit, backlog, billing status, and overall project performance.
• Coordinate with technicians, field supervisors, vendors, subcontractors, accounting, and company leadership.
• Ensure project notes, labor, materials, and supporting documentation are complete for timely invoicing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 3-5 years of HVAC, mechanical, construction, service, estimating, sales, or project management experience preferred.
• Hands-on HVAC or mechanical field experience is a strong advantage.
• Trade school, apprenticeship, construction/project management, business, or sales education is helpful.
• Working knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems, estimating, job costing, gross profit, and P&L reporting.
• Strong communication, organization, negotiation, follow-through, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customers, estimates, and active projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio.
POSITION DETAILS
Work Arrangement: Hybrid: office, remote, customer meetings, and jobsite visits
Compensation: Competitive base salary plus commission/performance incentives
Travel: Regular regional travel; occasional overnight travel may be required
Success Measures: Sales growth, gross profit, pipeline activity, customer retention, project execution, and timely billing
Tools: Microsoft Office; CRM, estimating, project management, and accounting software
