We are looking for an ambitious and fun individual to join our hard working banquets team at the Le Meridien | Sheraton Charlotte Hotel. Our goal is to enhance the customer experience by having an enthusiastic staff to ensure event guests are well taken care of!
- Prepare all dressings and cold sauces.
- Ensure quality guest service and comfort at all times by monitoring the area continuously.
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, specials, beverages, wines, etc.
- Serve all items utilizing appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments.
- Assist servers and set up housepersons if needed.
- Maintain safe serve regulations when serving alcoholic beverages
- Assist in setting tables with linen and basic silver and glass maintaining high standard of presentation
- Assist in breaking down events and cleaning rooms after functions
- Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
- Handle reasonable guests complaints/requests and inform others when required
This is an On Call position, you will be required to work atleast 2 shifts per month. One that includes a PM event.
