Harmony at Savannah is seeking a dependable, motivated Full-Time Van Driver / Maintenance Assistant to join our team. • Full-Time Van Driver / Maintenance Assistant 

  Position Overview 
  This full-time role is approximately: 

  • 50% Resident Transportation (Van Driver) 

  • 50% Maintenance Assistance 

  The successful candidate will safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and scheduled activities while also assisting with the upkeep, maintenance, and appearance of our community. 

  Responsibilities 

  Transportation Duties: 

  • Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, and community outings. 

  • Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed. 

  • Maintain transportation schedules and documentation. 

  • Perform routine inspections and ensure the community vehicle is clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition. 

  Maintenance Duties: 

  • Assist with general building maintenance and repairs. 

  • Complete work orders in a timely manner. 

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks. 

  • Help maintain the grounds, common areas, and exterior appearance of the community. 

  • Assist with painting, light plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, and other general maintenance duties as assigned. 

  Qualifications 

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required). 

  • Previous maintenance experience required. 

  • Ability to safely operate a passenger van. 

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills. 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods. 

  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Experience working in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare is a plus.
