An adjunct freelance lecturer for English (Foundation Diploma course) (m, f, d)
The teaching load comprises 6 SWS (Semesterwochenstunden; Teaching units).
The opportunity:
To become a freelance lecturer at a university of applied sciences sharing your knowledge and passion with students from all over the world
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the course (teaching language: English), in particular:
• Project management - Work place collocations
• Emotional Intelligence - ABCD presentation method
• Business Plan and Pitch - First and Second conditionals
• Elevator Pitch (solo presentation) - Business phrasal verbs
• Red Ocean Vs Blue Ocean - Business collocations
• Create an app idea (group presentation) - Present perfect and continuous
• Cognitive bias - Passives
• Paradigm shifts - Modals of deduction
• SWOT and PESTLE analysis - Phrasal verbs
• Future Tech - Future perfect and continuous
• International trade - Narrative tenses
This course is designed for students seeking to enhance their proficiency in the English language with a focus on
business related topics. Participants will delve into various aspects of grammar and vocabulary to refine their
communication skills. The course will encompass both theoretical understanding and practical application.

Your profile
- Relevant professional experience
- Place of living in or near Hamburg/Germany (Lectures to take place on campus!)
- Completed relevant university studies (either Bachelor or Master degree)
- Teaching experience at universities
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Organizational skills and willingness to work hard
