Job Description & Summary:  

 

PwC’s Value Creation is a niche team providing strategic and operational advice across the deal continuum in the areas of process improvement, operations due diligence, and organization transformation including actual on-ground level implementation of strategic and operational initiatives. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Analyze and document current manufacturing processes to identify and address gaps. 

  • Assess the manufacturing capabilities of the current operations and future growth, focusing on systems and controls, processes, best practices, organizational structure, personnel skills, KPIs, and MIS. 

  • Conduct thorough analysis, including both quantitative (data mining, model creation, benchmarking, OEE/Loss Analysis/Yield analysis, Maintenance KPIs) and qualitative (industry research, business intelligence, comparative analysis) methodologies, to validate hypotheses and propose solutions. 

  • Perform detailed analysis of work processes, systems, and organizational structures using interviews, observations, and statistical techniques to identify potential improvements. 

  • Apply knowledge of capacity mapping, cycle times, lean manufacturing, and world-class manufacturing (WCM) principles. 

  • Evaluate the operations governance framework, including performance review meetings, ERP systems, and templates, to detect inefficiencies in production, maintenance, and quality processes. 

  • Collaborate in defining operational problems and developing hypotheses for potential solutions. 

  • Implement optimization changes across operations and systems, ensuring alignment with change management principles. 

  • Support project delivery in accordance with contractual agreements. 

  • Engage in business development activities, including researching potential clients, identifying value propositions, and preparing proposals. 

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, assisting in problem identification and solution development. 

  • Seek opportunities to deliver value to clients, ensuring high satisfaction and fostering repeat business and positive feedback. 

  • Continuously enhance domain knowledge in operations. 

 

Mandatory skill sets: 

  • Well-developed and rounded core consulting skills of data analysis, process mapping, research, presentation, and attention to detail 

  • Good understanding and working knowledge of various ERP tools, MIS, Dashboard visualization tools 

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic and multidisciplinary environment as part of a closely-knit team 

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills - analytical, innovative, and creative mindset 

  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure. 

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 

  • Strong excel and ppt skills with exposure to Power BI / Alteryx 

  • Competence in interacting with senior-level stakeholders 

  • Aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results 

  • Ability to be self-directed and be an independent contributor to the team 

  • Willingness to travel extensively to client locations 

Preferred skill sets: 

  • Additional industry experience of working on plant site/ field is desirable 

  • Experience in delivering longer duration projects (More than 6 months) 

  • Keen and equal interest in strategy and sales acceleration 

  • A worthy team (often cross-functional with a diverse set of colleagues) player, dedicated to contributing towards the outcome desired by the team
