Smith+Nephew is hiring Master Data Analyst
As part of the GBS MDM team at Smith & Nephew, you'll be responsible for overseeing and maintaining critical global business data. This role involves troubleshooting issues, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with various departments like IT, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and Service to enhance data integrity and project execution. You'll need strong technical and functional knowledge of operational ERP systems, along with the ability to provide guidance and training to colleagues and internal customers. Supporting data cleansing and migration during day-to-day operations and projects will also be key.Top of Form
What you will be doing?
Managing and prioritizing GBS MDM Service Now requests within SLAs
Providing prompt, professional responses to customer inquiries
Collaborating with ERP system users to address daily production/logistics issues and execute master data changes
Resolving processing/reporting conflicts within the MDM team.
Executing item master data transactions across materials, vendors, customers, and more
Developing training materials and conducting sessions using appropriate tools
Driving MDM process improvement, maintaining SOPs and the Data Dictionary, while identifying and escalating policy gaps for resolution
What will you need to be successful?
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in data management, or 3 years' relevant experience. Proficiency in Material Master Data (Vendor, and Customer Master Data will be an asset) within SAP/Axapta systems.
Skills & Expertise: Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices. Familiarity with tools like Informatica, Winshuttle, Excel, Business Objects, Power BI. Advanced Excel skills and adeptness in data analysis. Ability to navigate multiple source systems including various SAP versions.
Languages: fluency in English
The anticipated gross annual base compensation range for this position is 93,000–120,000 PLN.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on objective, job related factors including (but not limited to) relevant skills, qualifications and experience, scope and responsibilities of the role, geographic location and internal equity considerations. Compensation decisions are made using consistent and gender neutral criteria, in line with applicable pay transparency laws. This role has been evaluated within our internal job architecture and mapped to a defined pay band to ensure consistency and fairness.
