As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements and established screening protocols.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorized access credentials, and document or report suspicious, prohibited, or unauthorized items and activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
