Elite Construction is hiring an Experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONSMechanical aptitude and willingness to work-at-heightsValid driver’s license, reliable transportation and within 60 miles of job locationAbility to pass drug screen, physical and background checkCleaning, inspecting, setting up, diagnosing, replacing, testing, and performing continuous improvements on equipmentAssisting in the diagnoses of electrical and mechanical malfunctions in machinery and equipment by inspecting visually and listening to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctionIdentifying and reporting the need for repairs to Maintenance ManagementConducting crossover with previous shifts' maintenance and production employees to review the schedule and current runsIdentifying what needs repair and plan product changeoversProfessionally communicating with other departments to share updates on equipment and repair statusWorking with the maintenance team to accurately communicate/document events so that others have the most effective information to solve problemsExperience prioritizing down-time severityExperience using a computerExperience troubleshooting root causes and applying long-term solutionsMinimum of 6 months of experience maintaining industrial machinery and equipmentExperience reading and interpreting machine electrical and mechanical drawingsWhat Will Put You AheadA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenanceMinimum of 3 years of industrial manufacturing experienceExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and industrial electrical skills$22.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Successful candidate must be able to work the third (1st) shift from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with occasional weekend. Job Duties & Responsibilities:Responsible for the day-to-day safe machine operation.Must work safe and follow all company and industry related safety rules and practices.Does not take shortcuts – always follow proper safety procedures when working on or around machinery.Follow all lock out/tag out procedures.Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.Ensure that all PMS are done on schedule.Works collaboratively with all employees, always remembering that the maintenance department services production.Must be capable to learn and perform (start-up/ shutdown) procedures safely for the power plant based upon schedule and plant requirements.Notifies Level I technician or Lead Technician when maintenance supplies are low so that they can be replenished on time.Participate in Maintenance meetings collaboratively.Attend safety meetings as directed.Any other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.Good listening and communication skills.Ability to speak and read English proficiently.Must be experienced and dedicated to meet high demands.Be dependable, teamwork attitude, and hardworking.Problem solving and planning skills.Follow safety and quality guidelines.Able to report to work on time and as scheduled.Verifiable work experience/history.Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Clean driving record; andAbility to pass drug and background screening
