| Service Manager – Child Protection Conference, earlier start date than advertised is preferred. 3 days onsite minimum. We are looking for an experienced and values-driven Service Manager to lead our Child Protection Conference Chair function and support the continued development of high-quality safeguarding practice across Children’s Services. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring that child protection conferences are delivered effectively, consistently and in line with statutory guidance, legislation and best practice. You will provide strong leadership to the team, support and challenge practice across Children’s Social Care, and help drive continuous improvement in services for children, young people and families. You will be committed to making sure children’s voices are heard and that families are actively involved in planning and decision-making. Working closely with partners, senior leaders and frontline services, you will use performance information, quality assurance and professional insight to strengthen safeguarding arrangements and improve outcomes for vulnerable children. We are looking for someone with substantial experience in children’s safeguarding, strong leadership and analytical skills, and the ability to lead change, build effective partnerships and develop a confident, high-performing team. You will hold a recognised social work qualification and have experience of managing within children’s services or a safeguarding environment.
