Sous Chef – Luxury Country Gastropub

Set within a beautifully restored historic country inn, this acclaimed gastropub has quickly established itself as a destination for discerning diners and countryside escapes alike. With a menu driven by the seasons, outstanding British produce and classic techniques, every plate celebrates quality without unnecessary complication.

We're looking for a talented Sous Chef to work alongside an ambitious Head Chef, helping to deliver outstanding food while leading and inspiring a passionate kitchen team.

• £40,000 to £45,000 per annum

The Role

As Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring every service is delivered to an exceptional standard. You'll lead from the front, support the development of junior chefs and help maintain a calm, organised and positive working environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the very best seasonal ingredients and takes genuine pride in producing refined, honest food.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or an experienced Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
• A passion for seasonal British cooking and exceptional ingredients
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• A calm and organised approach during busy services
