What you’ll do:
This position enables cross-functional execution by ensuring the accurate, traceable, and timely coordination of quality data and product samples to support operations, quality compliance, and customer delivery.
Quality Data Collection & Documentation
· Execute incoming, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with control plans and defined acceptance criteria
· Own the accuracy and timeliness of inspection data, ensuring all results are recorded and entered within required timeframes
· Identify and document nonconforming products, ensuring all records are complete, accurate, and traceable
· Enter and maintain quality data within Plex or designated systems with a high level of accuracy and completeness
· Provide complete and accurate data to support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes, ensuring timely availability to responsible team members
· In coordination with Quality Assurance Tech (QAT), maintain all quality records in an organized, audit-ready state in alignment with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements
Product Sample & Documentation Management
· Own the end-to-end coordination of product samples: collecting, preparing, and shipping, as well as mocking up new samples as required by customer accounts
· Maintain full accountability for sample flow, ensuring all requests are executed accurately and within required timelines
· Control and maintain sample inventory across both physical location and Plex, ensuring accuracy, organization, and immediate accessibility
· Ensure all samples are properly identified, cataloged, and traceable throughout the lifecycle (request - storage - delivery)
· Weigh and measure products to record in Plex MRP
· Assist in setting up and maintaining product planogram space
Cross-Functional Execution
· Drive alignment between Operations, Quality, Marketing, PD/Sales, and Shipping by ensuring quality data and sample needs are met without delay
· Ensure required data is readily available to support downstream analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts
· Own the accuracy and completeness of production notes and product documentation within Plex, ensuring alignment with PD/Ops and Operations
· Regularly travel throughout production areas to collect samples, perform inspections, and provide quality support
What you’ll need:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or coursework in a related field (Business, Quality, Manufacturing, or similar) preferred
· Prior experience in a manufacturing, quality, or operations environment preferred
· Experience working within ERP or manufacturing systems (Plex strongly preferred)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams); ability to enter, track, and manage data accurately
· Familiarity with basic reporting, data tracking, and documentation tools
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy across multiple data points, systems, and processes
· Ability to prioritize and execute work in a fast-paced environment with shifting timelines and competing demands
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and track multiple requests simultaneously
· Ability to ensure work is completed with a high level of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
· Effective cross-functional coordination skills
· Strong problem identification skills with the ability to flag issues, inconsistencies, or risks early
· Ability to follow defined processes while also identifying opportunities for improvement
· Clear written and verbal communication
· Ability to maintain organization and control of both physical materials (samples) and digital records
· High level of ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities and outcomes
Working Conditions/Environment:
This position works Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm. Work may occasionally require weekend and/or evening work. Working conditions are consistent with a typical manufacturing environment, and are usually moderately loud. This position requires frequent walking and movement throughout the facility, along with regular standing, to collect samples and support production operations. This role requires onsite work to support collaboration, ensure access to necessary resources, and effectively meet job responsibilities.
