Job Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, grating, and assembling ingredients.
- Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen station, including equipment, utensils, and work area.
- Collaborate with senior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Learn and develop cooking techniques and skills under the guidance of experienced chefs.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within the kitchen.
Critical Skills & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent culinary training.
- Prior experience as a kitchen assistant or similar role is preferred.
- Basic understanding of culinary techniques and food preparation.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
- Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- **You will be required to provide a valid proof of Right to Work in the UK. This can be a valid passport OR birth certificate along with your National Insurance documentation (both must be present OR another form of valid right to work documentation.
