Green Coyote Cantina is bringing honest Tex-Mex, handcrafted margaritas, and genuine hospitality to The Dale in Avondale Estates, and we're building an incredible Back-of-House team to help launch our newest location. Inspired by the spirit of classic Texas hospitality, Green Coyote is built on a simple philosophy: great food, great drinks, and even better people. From sizzling fajitas and street tacos to house-made salsas, fresh ingredients, and timeless Tex-Mex favorites, every plate that leaves our kitchen reflects our commitment to quality, consistency, and genuine hospitality.


We're looking for experienced Line Cooks who take pride in their craft, thrive in high-volume kitchens, and understand that consistency is the key to creating exceptional guest experiences. What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant kitchen

  • Commitment to following recipes, build sheets, and company specifications

  • Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and with a sense of urgency
  • Flexible availability, including lunch, dinner, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, build sheets, and presentation standards
  • Work multiple stations
  • Ensure every plate meets company standards for quality, consistency, appearance, and portioning
  • Execute proper line setup, stocking, and station organization before every shift
  • Maintain ticket times while producing high-quality food during busy service periods
  • Complete line checks, temperature logs, and station checklists as required
  • Follow all Health Department regulations, ServSafe guidelines, sanitation procedures, and food safety standards
  • Properly label, date, rotate, and store all food products
  • Assist with prep production and daily kitchen responsibilities as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready workstation throughout every shift
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen leaders, fellow cooks, and Front of House team members
  • Support opening, running, and closing kitchen responsibilities
  • Assist wherever needed to support the success of the Back of House team

Kitchen Standards

Great kitchens are built on consistency.

Our Line Cooks are expected to:

  • Follow recipes and build sheets exactly as written
  • Produce consistent food every shift, every plate, every guest
  • Work with urgency while maintaining attention to detail
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Support fellow team members and communicate effectively
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation
  • Take pride in every plate leaving the kitchen

Schedule & Availability

Green Coyote Cantina is open daily from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM, serving lunch, dinner, and special events.

Applicants should have flexible availability, including:

  • Lunch shifts
  • Dinner shifts
  • Weekday availability
  • Weekend availability
  • Holidays and special events
  • Opening and closing responsibilities as scheduled
