Discovery Kidd has an exciting opportunity for a Field Services Coordinator.

The Position:
The Field Services Coordinator oversees project construction and contract procedures compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of pre-construction coordination meetings between contractors and site operations, field construction activities as owners representative, including equipment inspections, excavation procedures, permitting, contractor management, and other associated contract documents
- Coordinates all activity related to multi discipline construction and commissioning by contract personnel on designated projects, including COGNIBOX management system training requirements
- Apply and ensure compliance with the requirements of the Ontario Occupational Heath and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects and Mines and Mining Plants
- Provide construction coordination and supervisory services, in consultation with the Project Manager, to ensure projects meet HSEC and site policy requirements
- Perform field inspections at required project sites and document findings in order to monitor construction quality and compliance and have a project history
- Report deficiencies and complete incident investigations
- Provide Project Engineers with support with project planning and development of scopes of work
- Produce Cost Tracking reports for invoice approvals
- Provide assistance with constructability reviews, cost estimates, schedules, equipment evaluation, manpower assessment, and other civil engineering design and construction support functions
- Provide assistance with contract administration functions
Skills and Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree or Diploma
- Minimum 10 years relevant industry experience, preferably with prior experience in earthworks.
- Computer skills with experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project)
- The ability to work well under pressure, and adapt to changing conditions in order to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive total compensation package including:

- Company contributions and matching into a Defined Contribution Pension Plan; and
- Annual compensation of CAD$80,000 to CAD$100,000.
