As a Senior Project Manager Office & Workplace (m/f/d), you will be responsible for managing demanding office, fit-out, refurbishment, relocation and conversion measures within Group Real Estate Management. You will be responsible for managing projects from project takeover to approval planning, design and implementation to successful commissioning and handover to the operating organisation. In this key role, you will represent Fresenius' interests vis-à-vis internal and external stakeholders and make a significant contribution to the professional development of real estate project management and engineering.
Your responsibilities:
Independently manage and successfully implement office, fit-out, refurbishment, relocation and conversion projects as owner’s representative.
Review, structure and transfer project basics from transaction management into resilient project setups.
Manage projects across planning, procurement, implementation, commissioning and handover.
Leading interdisciplinary project teams professionally and coordinating external architects, specialist planners, consultants, construction partners, landlord teams and service providers.
Ensure costs, deadlines, quality, scope, compliance, sustainability and operator requirements.
Establish and control master schedules, budget and forecast control as well as risk, opportunity and change management.
Professionally prepare and track decision-making bases for project committees, steering committees and management meetings.
Ensuring orderly commissioning, acceptance, user and operator handover as well as a stable project completion.
Support the development of project standards, governance structures, templates and reporting formats.
Actively contribute your project experience to the development of a scalable office fit-out and delivery framework.
Your qualifications:
Successfully completed university studies (master degree) in the field of architecture, civil engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
Several years of experience, ideally at least ten years, in the management of demanding office, fit-out, refurbishment, relocation or comparable real estate projects.
Proven experience as an owner’s representative or client-side project manager.
Very good understanding of all project phases in approval planning, design & construction, commissioning and handover processes.
In-depth knowledge of cost, deadline, risk, claim, contract and change management.
Experience in dealing with landlord/tenant interfaces, turnkey fit-out services and different project execution models.
Sovereignty in the management of external planners, consultants, construction partners and service providers.
Strong ability to prepare complex project situations in a management-oriented manner and to communicate them in a decision-oriented manner.
High communication, moderation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
Strong ownership mindset, high level of initiative and the willingness to actively shape the development and further development of GREM-Engineering.
