Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's of Science in Civil/Structuring Engineering
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License required
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in civil engineering design.
- Must have advanced working proficiency in Civil 3D
- Preference of working knowledge of Hydraflow, PondPack, WaterCAD, StormCAD, or similar software.
- Exposure to permitting and permit processes.
- Should have and display strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain effective communications with department members, higher management, and with clients.
- Perform calculations (hand calculations, computer aided calculations (spreadsheets and mathcad), and 3D modeling.
- Assist in creation of contract drawings via providing drawing input to civil designer
Comments/Special Instructions:
- PE is non-negotiable
- visa sponsorship not possible
- Position can be remote or near the client's office. Remote position is justified because the role does not require client- and contractor-face-to-face interaction, and coordination on the project is executed remotely.
- Conversion after six months would be ideal.
