Description
Eaton’s Electrical Sector - ARS division is currently seeking an Engineering & Projects Manager based onsite at our Fibrebond manufacturing campus in Minden, LA. Relocation assistance is available to candidates currently residing in the US.
In this role, you will own the overall project delivery strategy for the Data Center portfolio, aligning execution priorities with business objectives, revenue goals, and customer commitments.
Fibrebond, an Eaton company, designs and manufactures pre integrated modular buildings and power enclosures that protect mission critical equipment for data center, industrial, utility, and communications customers. Headquartered in Minden, Louisiana, Fibrebond is known for its engineered to order solutions that support complex infrastructure projects across North America. In 2025, Fibrebond was acquired by Eaton, expanding Eaton’s modular solutions portfolio while preserving Fibrebond’s strong engineering expertise, customer focus, and manufacturing operations in Louisiana.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $190,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
## What you’ll do:
- Leads, develops, and mentors Project Managers and Project Engineers; sets performance expectations and drives a strong sense of accountability and continuous improvement within the department.
- Defines organizational structure, role clarity, and succession plans for the Team.
- Partners with HR to support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
- Communicates directly with the customer and their representatives.
- Assures the production of assigned project flows smoothly. Manages the project to ensure Fibrebond’s product meets customer specifications and appropriately tracks changes in scope and associated change orders.
- Assists Engineering in design of the project, verifying that it meets the customer's expectations, as well as verify that no requirements, specifications, etc. were omitted during the estimating process.
- Enters project information related to sales orders and engineer jobs in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Creates and updates project status reports and distributes updates as required by the customer.
- Creates long lead bills of material (BOMs), which is provided to the purchasing department for ordering materials.
- Coordinates and schedules projects with production, equipment installation, transportation and field services to meet customer's requirements.
- Assists the Quality Control department in scheduling various inspections during production.
- Assists Quality Control in minor quality issues, determining if it will meet customer's expectations.
- Verifies information regarding the completed project is correct in ERP system prior to billing and enters all Job Change Orders (JCO) related to assigned projects in the ERP system throughout the project.
- Enters all service calls related to project after shipment in ERP system and distributes as required.
- Assists with assembling submittal books for customers as required.
- Partners with the Engineering team to define and manage project drawing needs and timelines.
- Manage the development, update and issuance of project specific schedules.
- Manages warranty calls to make sure that they are responded to in a timely manner.
## Qualifications:
Basic (required) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Six (6) years of progressive experience in project/program management, engineering, or operations leadership, supporting manufacturing operations or a similar technical environment.
- One (1) year of experience leading people and cross functional teams.
- Ability to read and understand building drawings, site plans, building and equipment layouts, foundation drawings, etc.

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor of science in engineering, construction managemen,t or construction technology from an accredited college or university.
- Three (3) years of experience leading people and cross functional teams.
- Three (3) years of building construction or building manufacturing experience.
- Previous project management experience in the power management field.
- PMP Certification.
- Previous experience creating Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and control plans.
- Previous experience with Lean | Six Sigma projects and implementation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Projects scheduling.

- Able to clearly and effectively present complex information to customers, employees, and leadership at all levels of the organization. Serves as an advisor to Sales, Engineering, and Operations leadership on project feasibility, risk, and delivery trade offs.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions routinely. Reviews and approves major scope changes, commercial terms, and customer escalations.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Ability and willingness to travel to meet customer demands. Acts as executive sponsor for key strategic customers, leading senior level communications, issue resolution, and long term relationship development.
