S&T Customer Development Chemist, Senior

As a Customer Support Chemist, you will be a technical professional role to perform independently by planning and executing specific phases of a project. You will support trouble shooting for production or customer line. The focus area will be powder coatings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new product, improve exiting formula and consolidate technology platform independently.

• Assist supervisor to coordinate the technical issue in new project.

• Issue and update the related technical documents.

• Support trouble shooting for production or customer line.

• Maintain equipment and laboratory facilities consistent with safety and quality principle.

• Responsible for the experimental DOE design, data analysis, issue the report and action plan

• Assist supervisor to optimize production process/formula design/material offset to continually reduce manufacturing cycle times and product cost, improve quality control and the overall performance of coatings.

• Coach the Technician and Junior Chemist for new color or new product development according to the technology platform, help them to improve experiment skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or equivalent with 5 years powder coatings working experience, prefer to Automotive powder coating development.

• Good Communication and learning ability

• Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal) to interact with global teams and customers.

• Be able to work independently and coach others
