Data Literacy Coordinator

About the Role 

The Data Literacy Coordinator will play a vital supporting role in driving a data-empowered culture across the organization. This position is essential to operationalizing our global data culture strategy. You will support the enhancement of our collective data capabilities by assisting in the organization of internal events, drafting key communications, and handling the logistical coordination of targeted training programs. The Coordinator is pivotal in helping turn data strategy into tangible cultural change through administrative excellence, content creation support, and robust global coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Data Culture & Internal Branding Support

    • Assist the Data Literacy Coordinator in Belgium in planning, scheduling, and executing engaging Data Town Halls and internal community events. Handle logistics, manage invites, and provide operational support during sessions to share key data insights and celebrate successes.

    • Support the execution of the data branding strategy by drafting, formatting, and distributing internal communication materials (e.g., newsletters, intranet content, success stories) to help continuously evangelize a "data-smart" culture.

  • Strategic Reporting & Stakeholder Support

    • Assist in drafting and designing high-quality, concise slides and presentation materials for SteerCo (Steering Committee) meetings and senior management updates.

    • Help translate complex data initiatives into clear, compelling narratives for cross-functional teams and leadership communications.

  • Training Coordination & Administration

    • Collaborate with the Data Literacy Coordinator in Belgium, Data Ambassadors, and HR/L&D to track data training needs. Take ownership of the administrative coordination, scheduling, and deployment of training programs, workshops, and learning resources (including vendor coordination where applicable).

    • Assist in maintaining learning pathways and tracking participant progress to foster a deeper understanding of key data capabilities, tool usage, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement

    • Administer feedback mechanisms regarding the status and outcomes of literacy programs. Track, compile, and report on the participation metrics and effectiveness of data culture initiatives to help the Lead inform future program design.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent by experience) in Communications, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.

  • 2-3+ years of experience in a coordination, communications, administrative, or project support role, preferably within a data, analytics, or technology environment.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and formatting skills, with proven experience in building and refining presentations (e.g., Google Slides) for diverse audiences.

  • Strong organizational and project administration skills, with the ability to manage multiple logistical tasks concurrently.

  • Ability to work effectively across time zones, maintaining proactive and seamless collaboration with the Data Literacy Coordinator in Belgium and cross-functional teams in Belgium and globally.

  • Familiarity with core concepts of data literacy, data governance, and organizational change management is a strong plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and administering e-learning content.

  • Experience in internal marketing, drafting newsletters, or executing communication plans for technical/data initiatives.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working in a global organization and navigating diverse cultural environments.
