As a globally competitive institution, Nanyang Business School (NBS) is committed to attracting diverse, top-tier candidates to our graduate programmes. We are currently seeking a highly organized individual to oversee the operational management of one of our Specialised Master’s programmes.
The core purpose of this role is to guarantee the effective implementation of all academic, administrative, and operational processes in alignment with University policies. By providing robust administrative support to our faculty and managing the complete student lifecycle—from first enrolment to graduation—you will play a critical role in delivering an excellent student experience and ensuring the continuing success of our graduate programmes.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end operations of one of the Specialised Master’s programmes, ensuring compliance with University policies and smooth programme delivery.
Plan and coordinate the academic calendar, course timetable, course registration, teaching evaluations, examinations, and class logistics.
Support curriculum planning and academic administration by working closely with the Academic Director on curriculum proposals, changes, and other academic matters.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, University departments, and partners, to facilitate programme operations.
Manage faculty scheduling, appointment letters, course materials, assessments, and provide administrative and academic support to instructors.
Maintain student records and deliver timely support on academic and administrative matters to enhance the student experience.
Prepare and monitor programme budgets, process invoices and faculty payments, and ensure financial compliance.
Plan and organise programme-related events, including orientations, networking activities, social events, and graduation ceremonies.
Key Competencies and Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of programme management experience in an IHL preferred.
Organized and meticulous with strong administrative skills.
Good understanding of budget management.
Driven and able to work well in a fast-paced environment under pressure and tight deadlines.
Able to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
Service-oriented
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Skilled at planning, organizing, multitasking, and project management, with a strong customer orientation.
Good team player who is self-motivated, resourceful, and flexible in adjusting and responding to changing priorities; and able to work independently.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
