Job Description: Software Technical Consultant

Exhibits advanced wide-ranging experience, using in-depth professional knowledge, acumen, concepts and company objectives to develop, resolve complex models and procedures. Provides solutions to issues in creative and effective ways. Understands the interrelationships of different disciplines. Directs the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Education: Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience in software development. 

Experience: 10+ years of experience in server-side programming with Java. Expertise in Java, J2EE, SQL, and a passion for clean, efficient, and maintainable code

• Strong knowledge of software architecture, design principles, and coding standards, with a focus on scalability and security. Proven ability to mentor junior developers and guide teams toward best practices. 
• Extensive experience interacting with executive-level stakeholders (VP, SVP) and customers. 

• Knowledge of PLM software, particularly Windchill and AI Tooling, is a strong advantage. 
• Application Security understanding and implementable architecture solutions.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like GIT. 

• Excellent communication, technical leadership, and problem-solving skills. 
• Document technical designs, code, and other project deliverables to ensure high-quality communication across the organization. 
• Extensive experience interacting with stakeholders (Directors, VP of TPM, PM and Development) and customers. 

Your Role 

• Subject Matter expert: Lead and direct the design, development, and maintenance of highly secure and scalable software solutions. 

• Provide technical leadership to teams, mentoring and coaching junior staff and influencing development practices across the organization. 

• Drive innovative concepts, products, and solutions that directly impact the future direction of the company. 

• Participate in code reviews and other quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with the highest technical standards. 

• Document technical designs, code, and other project deliverables to ensure high-quality communication across the organization. 

• Communicate effectively with senior leaders, external partners, and customers to ensure alignment and promote the organization’s thought leadership in the field. 

• Collaborate on achieving 100% automation in development processes. Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and industry developments to ensure that products remain at the forefront of innovation.
