Description

Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is hiring a Journeyman Automotive Technician for our busy, high-volume service department.

This is a flat-rate production role for experienced technicians who are comfortable diagnosing, repairing, and consistently flagging hours in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately 
• Perform electrical, drivability, and mechanical repairs 
• Maintain consistent productivity and flagged hours 
• Follow OEM repair procedures and use factory tools 
• Work with service advisors to keep workflow moving 

What We’re Looking For

• Flat-rate technician experience required or strongly preferred 
• Journeyman or higher-level production capability 
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to work efficiently in a production environment 
• Experience in dealership or high-volume shop preferred 
• Professional, disciplined work ethic

Requirements

• 1 year of automotive experience. 
• ASE certifications are ideal. 
• Strong automotive background 
• Strong teamwork skills 
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written. 
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.  
• Must have a clean & valid driver's license.
