Overview
As a Peer Mentor, you will use your personal recovery journey to support youth facing serious emotional and behavioral challenges in our Intensive Residential Treatment Program. Your responsibilities include building strong relationships with youth, engaging in one-on-one conversations, serving as a role model, participating in treatment teams, leading treatment groups, and advocating for youth. Candidates must have received treatment services in a long-term residential setting as a youth and be stable and advanced enough in their recovery to work with similar youth. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are required.
