About the job

You hold end-to-end responsibility for Business Control at Site Gimo and act as the primary financial business partner and single point of contact to the Production Unit Director. You ensure reliable, transparent, and forward-looking financial insights that support decision-making, prioritization, and continuous improvement in operations.

The role combines hands-on business controlling with people responsibility. While you lead and coordinate a team of Business Controllers, the role remains primarily operational, with strong personal ownership of analysis, forecasting, performance follow-up, and financial storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Full ownership of Business Control for Site Gimo, including accuracy and completeness of financial reporting
• Drive forecasting, target-setting, and performance management with strong business relevance
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights and decisions
• Lead and develop the Business Controller team with clear ways of working and high quality standards
• Drive improvements in data quality, reporting, and system usage
• Ensure compliance with financial governance, processes, and EHS requirements

The location for this position is Gimo.

Who you are

You’re a senior Business Controller with strong analytical capability and extensive experience from industrial or manufacturing environments. Comfortable taking full ownership, you work close to operations and act as a trusted advisor to management, with the ability to own and explain financial performance in a complex setup. A relevant academic degree in Finance, Economics, or Industrial Engineering is needed, along with fluency in English and Swedish.

You’re a structured and clear leader who creates direction through prioritization and defined ways of working, while building strong relationships across the organization. You communicate in a clear and engaging way, adapting your message to both management and operations.
