Description
Scope of Work / Project Description
The City requires one SAP Development Lead. The resource will work on multiple tasks, as determined by the project plan and schedule. The resource will:
- Provide technical guidance for SAP development initiatives delivered by system integrators as well as internal teams.
- Act as the lead technical resource and advisor across a broad range of solutions spanning SAP S/4HANA, SAP SaaS, SAP BTP-based iPaaS, and PaaS platforms, ensuring robust, scalable, and sustainable solution design and delivery.
- Define, review, and approve SAP solution designs and development approaches, ensuring alignment with City’s standards, SAP & Industry best practices and security, and compliance requirements.
- Perform detailed code reviews, validate technical designs, and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to development standards and overall solution integrity during delivery.
- Ensure consistent application of governance, clean core principles, and architectural standards across all development activities to enable high-quality and sustainable delivery outcomes.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for System Integrator to ensure development standards, quality, and timelines are met.
- Enforce development standards, governance, and clean‑core principles across vendor-led delivery ensuring consistency and long-term maintainability of the solution landscape.
- Collaborate with internal business and IT teams to ensure SAP solutions aligned to business requirements, transformation objectives, and program priorities.
